Despite his corporate background, his passion for cooking and creating a welcoming space led him to pursue his dream of opening a café. The café, named Banlee, is inspired by the initials of his parents' names, reflecting their love and support in his journey. I recently visited The Banlee's Cafe in Haldwani, and I must say, it's a hidden gem! The momos here are absolutely delicious and remind me of the famous Sonam momos from Nainital — soft, flavorful, and perfectly steamed. What’s even better is that the prices are very reasonable, offering great value for the quality of food. The owner is also extremely polite and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.
